Note:	Johann Christian Ludwig (Louis) Abeille was the son of a princely chamber assistant and received his musical training with Antonio Boroni, Ferdinando Mazzanti and Semann at the Karlsschule in Stuttgart. In 1782 he became a member of the court music, 1802 successor of Johann Rudolf Zumsteeg as a concertmaster in Stuttgart and 1815 court organist until he retired in 1832.
